Athens Networking Event

Finally! The much anticipated event happened. It was at Starbucks in Monastiraki yesterday evening. Did you miss it?

Only a few people showed up but it turned out to be a very great experience. Thank you everyone who came. Several countries were represented. We had friends who have known each other for a long time. Some of them having been Facebook friends for years without having met in person. This event provided the opportunity for it to happen. Others got to know each other for the first time ever but at the end of it all you wouldn’t tell that they haven’t been lifelong friends. The stories, the laughter, the excited parting of ways at the end. At the end of it all, I left smiling and satisfied at the success of a first meeting of it’s kind that promises to have many more in the future. Ooops! We forgot to take photos. 🙁

So much was shared in the roughly three hours that we stayed there. Everything from personal matters to things that concern the world, including the current economic situation all over and also some politics(I am not a big fan). Not forgetting that there were some promising partnerships in the talks on different areas, business included and some festive season meetup plans. A few people walked home each with a copy of my books, Be Good For Good and the Achieve Your Dream workbook.

That was a day well spent. I just thought of sharing the news with you.
